The Parade & Opening Day committee is responsible for planning and executing opening day and the parade for the Spring/Summer Program. This includes, attending a Centerville Town Council meeting for approval of parade route, organizing parade line up, inviting and securing outside organizations to participate, recommending Grand Marshall and 1st pitches and making contact with selected indiviuals, selecting emcee for opening ceremonies, a performer for the national anthem, and raising the American Flag.  A monthly report is to be provided to the board of directors by the chairman during board meetings.
