UPCOMING IMPORTANT DATES
2014 CYL Sports Season
The Centerville Youth League is in need of board members and/or
volunteers for the upcoming Spring/Summer Sports Season. Currently there are only 6 board members and we need a total of 15 to make the upcoming season successful as well as all the other programs we offer. This past year we had over 500 children involved in sports at CYL. Should we not be able to fill these positions, we will have to make some changes to the programs we offer during the spring/summer which includes baseball, softball, tee ball, and volleyball.
If you are interested in joining or would like more information
on the board of directors, please come to our next monthly board meeting or email us at email@example.com.
WHEN: Sunday, March 9, 2014
WHERE: Centerville Youth League Concession Building
TIME: 2:00 PM
2014 Parent Survey
The Centerville Youth League is your organization and you can directly affect your child’s experience in it. The CYL Board of Directors is always on the lookout for willing, enthusiastic volunteers. All too often we, as
board members have heard someone say “Well, if I would have known that you needed that done, I could have helped you, I know how to do that.” Or “Hey, I know someone who could have done that a lot cheaper!” Well, now is your chance to speak up and let us know what you can do and who you know. Please take a few minutes to fill out this short survey.

WE DO IT FOR THE KIDS!
2014 Sponsorship Information
The Centerville Youth League is gearing up for another year of sports programs for our area youth. As a not-for-profit group run completely by parent volunteers, we would like to extend our deepest appreciation for your past and future support, and would like to invite you to participate with us again. Our biggest goal is to allow every child in our community the opportunity to play sports, regardless of their family’s financial situation. Your continued support helps us reach that goal by, not only assisting with our daily operating costs, but allowing us to do all the extra things that help the kids have a fun, safe, and enjoyable experience in whichever sport they choose to play.

Summer Sports Registration
Registration for our spring/summer sports will begin very soon. Online registration will begin February 1, 2014 and end March 15th, 2014. There will also be several on site registrations which will be listed below. Like we have mentioned we need more people involved this summer to keep our programs running so please volunteer and help make this summer the most successful summer for our kids. Coaches are always needed, if you are interested please fill out the coaches application located below.
Baseball - The Wayne County Rural League has made some changes this season to help give more opportunities to all players in the baseball program. This year everyone in Pee Wee division to Colt will have the opportunity to try out for an division A team (depending on registration numbers) which will be chosen by an outside individual to participate on this team. Please check the box on your form if you or your child is interested.
Softball ~ CYL is proud to announce that we are no longer a part of the Indiana/Ohio softball league! We have joined forces with Dublin to create our own league! So beginning this
upcoming season, all games will be played at home or in Dublin, but we will still play against other communities such as Lewisville and Knightstown! Other important changes - 8U fast pitch is now machine pitch (as opposed to coach pitch in the past), and we will go back to offering SLOW PITCH at the junior level (11-19) for the girls not interested in moving forward with fast pitch! We can also now accept girls from any community who wishes to play with us! So feel free to invite your friends from other schools to join you this season! We look
forward to a great softball season!

Additional Siblings or additional sport - $25
Buyout for this season (Fundraiser has not been determined yet) - $35
